This edition was rebound as a tight-back binding, in black goatskin with calfskin panels, the title stamped in gold upon the spine. The original cover was moved to the interior front cover as a board paper, and the original board papers were encapsulated in tissue and tipped in as flyleaves, with Ruscombe Mill ph neutral conservation paper added as buffer between original cover and flyleaves. This is a rare first edition whose condition led to an artistic rebinding in the finest conservation materials. A truly one of a kind piece. Binding comes with its own custom clam shell book box.
